It just seems perfect!!
It's massive (4 DISCS!)
The FMV Sequences are first class, if not better!
and it doesnt seem to get boring at all! I played nearly 4 hours non-stop without putting the controller down!
If you don't own this game, go and buy it now!!! You don't know what your missing!!!!
Apparently you get to control the summons, each having there own special abilities and techniques. Although it is not coming out for about a year it will be a must have title.

I give you Zone of the Enders!
and/or Metal Gear 2.
Ok the graphics are good on FF9, but if you think they are better than ANY on PS2 then I can only assume you need to see more PS2 games!
You'd be hard pushed to find a bigger fan of FF7 & FF8 than me, I'm a huge fan of the RPG genre and Final Fantasy games in particular.
However, I thought that FF9 was pants in comparison. Yes it had lovely graphics and great FMV, but it just didn't grip me like the other two. I thought that the character development was weak. It was too predictable (even for a Final Fantasy game), on FF7&8 your main character (and therefore the one you are ultimately to have the most interest in) had some form of depth, he had an intriguing background and he opened up throughout the story. Zidane, on the other hand, was a case of what you see is what you get bland a$$ thief. Oooh his thievery calmed down a bit from a few hours in, so what!
All the game had to offer in character development was in the form of the princess and that was so cliche I was nearly sick. As for an intriguing past, Zidane is missed out again, oh yes they touch on it early on but by the time you start finding out about it, you don't really care anymore. Instead, all the focus is poured onto the little whining "Orco" lookalike and when you find out abuot his past it's just plain dissapointing.
Final Fantasy X had better be something special!!!!!!!!
