"Chris Sawyer's Locomotion..."

I'm not sure if anybodies every played Transport Tycoon before? but it would appear Christopher is re-releasing this game, with a vast amount of upgrades.

Basically, on Transport Tycoon, you are in a pre-created world (there is the option to make your own map) and you create transport. You can't design the vehicals (but when you see the shots, you'll see why this doesn't matter), but you create a track layout and basically do stuff to earn money. For example, you could build a passenger train from one town to another, or you could build a vehical road from the coal mine, to the electricty station and earn money that way. It's a really fun, great game that'll have you hooked for hours.

Anyway, I'm not sure if Locomotion is the same, however judging from these screenshots (I've included them below) I'm pretty sure it's just Transport Tycoon updated.

There is no information about the game yet, however there are 5 screen shots. I for one will be getting this game, as you cannot play the original on Windows XP.

By the way, if you've never played this before, another games created by Chris Sawyer is Rollercoaster Tycoon (All 3 games + add-on packs).

Also, judging by those screenshots the following changes have been made from Transport Tycoon:

- Much more detail on buildings/objects.
- Ability to create bus stops on streets, rather than a large bus station.
- Trams.
- Realistic airports.
- Graphical passengers at stations.
- Companies are ranked.

I completed a few levels, but with recent releases like Dawn of War, Rome: Total War and Evil Genius, I've had little time to go back for more. Maybe in a week or two, but the draw just doesn't seem to be their at the minute.

I uninstalled it ages ago.

I completed all the stages in the first two difficulty settings, and now I'm going through the ones in intermediate/hard.

I've reached 80% and am now president. YAY!

So guys...what level are you on? I'm on level 2 still, Sandbox Settlers...I must be half a century into it, even three-quarters. Anyway, I've now got a dozen and one metropolises, and I have five medium airports, and soon, large airports.

My trains are more modern now, and my trams are getting better. The planes have rapidly increased in speed and capacity, and generally, I'm loving this level.

I'm just under 70% at the moment, and increasing by the second. I've still got half a dozen towns to Dubsiefy, and I've only really just started on the industries...I have loads of cash sitting in the bank, doing sod all, and I've invested in a few new factories, like the oil factory.

Generally, enjoying it still.

And more importantly, just how is Kylie Minogue involved?

The bus stop and bus terminus? I generally use the terminus as the end of the line...maybe it makes the bus more reliable or something? May sound stupid, but what else could it be?

Hooray! The Britain map rocks, I pwned them all good.

Shame my steam ferry took about 6 months to get from Liverpool to Dublin :(
