i hav been trying to get conected 2 ps2 online for 2 days now and still havnt got newer i need help b4 i kill sum1:s
ive got up to the point u take the diagnostics test and no matter what i do the dns test always fails >:s
does ne1 no wer i can find how 2 sort my problem or who knows what 2 do please heelllpppp!

Depends on how you are set up.

Is the PS2 plugged into a router, also used by the PC?
Is it plugged directly into a modem going straight into the wall?
Is it plugged into your PC, sharing it's connection?

how do i find out about the fire wall thing?

Check your modem/router isn't firewalled too as that can sometimtes cause problems.

Using ICS at all?

Skip the diagnostic test, just get any online game and set up a network configuration file using the game disc (the SOCOM 1 disc works really well for this).

In other words, remove the Network Access Disc from your PS2, replace it with an online game, boot up your PS2 and go from there.
