I created this topic before but some stupid staff member screwed the forums up and deleted my messages.

Burnout 3 comes out next week, and halo 2 after that.

I want to play these games online, but I can't! I already have xbox live, that is not the problem. The problem is that I constantly get disconnected.

I play project gotham 2 and rainbow six black arrow mainly.

I can play both at night time (around midnight until early morning) with hardly ever gettign disconnected. But during the day time I get booted form the games every 5 minutes. Really annoying!

I heard there is a common problem with connecting an Xbox via ICS.

I can't confirm this though.

No, because you will set up your account on his Xbox. You can delete it after, but you use another Xbox to make sure it is not your Xbox that is the problem.

The interesting thing about them is that they are of course part of Kingston Communications, not BT. Most ADSL just runs through BT, but yours won't. This may be part of the problem. Look for anything about other people using Karoo Rapid Time with Xbox Live.

I'll do that tomorow.

If you have issues with Xbox Live but not PS2 Online, it suggests a problem with either the Xbox or at Microsoft's end. I'd phone their helpline, it is free after all. They may be able to think of reasons for it to happen, or know of settings to manually tweak.

If possible, get a friend to test their Xbox with your connection. Retrieve your account on their Xbox to test it. If it works ok, then it is your Xbox. If it doesn't then it is either the rest of your hardware or the line itself.

Which ISP are you with? Tried searching on the Xbox forums?
