Two nights ago I joined the craze that is online gaming via the ps2, and I have got to say, it is one of the most impressive things I have ever experienced.

So far I have 4 online games, splinter cell PT, socom, thug and twisted metal black online. So if anyone has these games I shall probably see you on there. My name is R GRIEVE, so if you see me join in if you want.

hmmm that's a shock, no xbox fanboy has wandered in here yet reminding us just how great xbox live is. good good.

Anyway not bothering with any PS2 online gaming now until GT4, Killzone and S Vs R comes out. Socom 2 is crap, Socom 1 is good but full of cheaters and Everquest just takes too long and seeing as i'm trying to finish a 162 games (plus playoff) season on MVP Baseball i just don't have the time.

If you like SOCOM get Killzone. And if you like driving get WRC 2004. We've just had these two titles on the European beta trials and they should both be out in November. The two I tend to play the most are SOCOM and EverQuest Online Adventures, the only other really great online game out there for me was Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain until I'd completed it, after which there wasn't much left to do in it.

Netgear DG834G modem/router going to PC, PS2 and Xbox. All connected via Straight cables and relevant local IPs allowed full in/out access to avoid loss of data (especially voice).

Quite simple setup, although the PS2 online setup disc is a bit iffy - I ended up setting it all up through SOCOM which worked better for some reason.

Obviously you need the Network Adapter, but if you http://uk.playstation.com/networkgaming/support.jhtml you can find out all the help you need for getting your PS2 online.

Play socom 2 quite a bit, only one of my online games I play at the moment - should be on it tomorrow night. Will also be getting stat wars battlefronts when it comes out.

I forgot to say the reason I made this topic.

Just use it as a chat about what games you play and when you will be playing then some could agree to meet up at certain time to play.
