I recently got me a copy of FX but I'm a bit stuck and trawling through the 30+ walkthroughs on gamefaqs isn't my thing.
I was wondering...
I just beat Yunalesca and I thought I'd try and strengthen up, do the side quests, get enough money so Yojimbo accepts etc. When I wander about, I keep coming across chests that cannot open, after catching all beasts in the Calm Lands, after winning the Chocobo Race and going down the gorge to look at some thing on the wall, and some other chest in some random location I found on Cids map.
How do I open them?

In the calm lands you must got to the guy who offers chocobo training. After you have completed all training at least once, you will be able to ride a chocobo in the calm lands. Now, get on a chocobo and go est of the southern entrance (still on the raised mound). You will see a yellow feather. Press x by it, and your chocobo will jump the canyon. Follow the path out to get to Remiem Temple. By the hall go right. You must win the race against the other chocobo. After you win, you get the Cloudy Mirror.
Now, go to Macalania Woods and search around to find a man who has been separated from the rest of his family. Further along you will find a woman and child. Now go back over to the man and tell him his family is waiting for him. Go back over to the woman and child. They are reunited, except the child has gotten lost now too.
Now, go up the glistening path and turn left at the fork. You will find the boy. When he has left you can activate the plant behind him, which urns the Cloudy Mirror into a Celestial Mirror. This will allow you to open the chests.
