What's the other one like?
Do you think that these adverts will get through to parents?
The one called "Nintendogents" is the best!
I reconise the music it's super mario 2 (all stars)
There's one where there's a cone saying 'caution slippery suface' and then there's a guy liying on his back but he's still playing on his GBA!
Also i've seen one for Super Mario Advance where it says All new adventure, All new wepons and then there's a cartoon with a man and he has vegetables instead of guns in his belt!
Here's a description of the other advert:Here's a description from a website:
adverts really are mature! There's no speaking involved throughout and of course there isn't a kid to be seen! Oh and they also featured right after 'The Big Breakfast's' little spot on Page 3 girls being rubbed in suntan lotion... That's Nintendo's morning TV strategy for you folks!
Waiting in line you can see the main character of the advert waiting there just left of the middle of the screen.
GameBoy Advance £85? That's a bit more than most retailers are selling it at pre-order, might be a suggestion to pre-order now while you can then! (oh and the character is still playing the GBA - but he's also blocking the line from flowing... the excitement!)
The ad cuts to some in game F-Zero action. Very nice indeed.
Now with the person directly infront of our character going through the metal detector (and therefore explaining the having to leave the GBA to go through the metal detector premise of the advert.
Seeing the tray and doing a double take of sorts, the character decides to take the GBA and just stands there.
With the guard becoming annoyed, he frowns and stares at the character.
Going back to the in-game footage (to hide what's actually happening) we see more F-zero goodness this time with another ship on the screen.
Going behind the other guard attendant, we see the luggage going through the X-ray machine, and then a foot appears. The guard looks shocked, while the camera zooms in.
Sure enough it's the character STILL playing the GBA. At least he doesn't have drugs that he's smuggling on him. Otherwise this really would be way too mature (though some might argue immature) for the Nintendo we all know and love!
Then it's the GameBoy Advance logo - It had to make an appearance somewhere didn't it! Available June 22nd for all of you without good eyesight!
Gaming 24:7... what's this the official GameBoy Advance website is up? Woo-hoo two news pieces in one here! (if you can't see the address in the picture just try and guess what it is, begins with 'www.' and ends with '.co.uk').
