I am looking forward to the gameboy advanced arrival, but I was surprised by the lack of new RPG's designed for the GBA.

I will have to survive on the fab games like Super Mario Advanced and Sonic the Hedgehog but I am shock to discover that the RPG's are not set to come out until after the GBA launch date.

Although I have not seen them I know that there are RPG's on the way like Golden Sun but until its release I will have to make do with the older Game Boy colour games like the new Zelda and the great Pokemon games.

When do you think such games will be arriving, Rik Rik as I can not wait. I can also not wait until Zelda comes out for the GB colour and then hopefully they will bring out one for the GBA.

Any way what would be your dream RPG for the GBA. I would like them to bring out some of the classical playstation RPGs like Alundra and Wild Arms, not forgetting the Final Fantasy Adventures.

Some one told me that Square sof was thinking of producing a final fantasy game for the GBA since it started on the original GB.

Thanks for Replying to my first message.

There are a few new RPG's coming to the Gameboy advance this year. They are Magical vacation, Mega man Battle EXE, Golden sun and Tactics Ogre Gaiden. Golden sun is looking sweet so far. If you need any more info about these games just ask

Nintendo are releaseing two Zelda RPG's for the Game Boy Color which are playable on the Game Boy Advance just after the GBA's launch.

I reckon in a few months time we'll hear of a brand new Zelda adventure on the GBA!

Hey elanor... I haven't seen you about here before ;)

Anyway, the RPGs....

I think most of the first wave of GBA games was to capitalise on the launch. They were developed quickly to hit the deadlines, and haven't shown too much advancement (no pun intended!). Ninty are the only people who have really experimented with the hardware so far.

As for RPGs, I expect we will see some emerging in a few months time- after the initial instalment of games has passed over us. By then developers will have had the time to get used to the hardware, and I'm expecting great results!
