I have recently just found out my DK gold version i tried to use for the win 98 never worked, but i found out it works perfectly fine on the XP which is very surprising as 've tried other old games before and this is the first to work.

The reason I mention Evil Genius despite the fact it plays almost the same as dungeon keeper, is that with no Dungeon Keeper 3 in the works, Evil Genius is the next best thing.
I've just easily gotten back up to level 18 out of the 20 overall, and I intend to defeat the level unlike I couldn't do when i first played it. it's not that the level was absolutely difficult, you just really need to work your socks off to protect your dungeon quickly before the enemy break through the un-fortified walls.
Anyway i've now started using the Dk editor to create maps and alter the deeper dungeon levels to whatever advantage i want. This comes with the DK gold editon though so it's exclusive to only that. It's quite fun as it's very simple to use and lets you do absolutely everything like putting entire armies of creatures in your dungeon, having more than 1 dngeon heart, put hundreds of specials in, hundreds of traps, gem blocks anywhere you want, gold fortification anywhere, any creature bad or good can be selected for which colour they ally with and at any level you want too. It's great as you can put down 100 Avatars at level 10 in your own dungeon, or start with level 10 imps for quick digging early on.
