I was watching film 2001 yesterday and it said the team behind Saving Private Ryan (unsure about Spielberg) have made a TV series on the same lines of the film and are currently showing it on the U.S channel NBC.
The Series is called band of brothers and is coming to the BBC in the fall.
It looks very promising, if you know anything else on this please post.
