Sorry, but Rick Berman and Paramount have said there certainly will not be any DS9 or Voyager movies, although they have not ruled out the possibility of either show having "guest" crew members in future films.

Personally, I think out of the 2 films, Star Wars Episode 2 will do better in terms of box office money and will probably be the better to watch.
Star Trek needs something new, something that will wow us all, the talks of this being Picard`s last film, maybe a good thing, don`t get me wrong he is my favourite Captain of them all, but i think if his death or a story of him retiring to a certain planet where everyone stays young (see Star Trek: Insurrection) would get people to the cinema, Star Trek needs a big something in the next film.
The last Star Trek film to `Wow` everyone was Star Trek: First Contact, which was a near perfect Trek film, with action, Adventure, an enemy which was in the classic role as a enemy, they give you the creeps and the Borg Queen was just brilliant, Picard doesn`t need a Nemesis, he has one and She is on every Borg ship, she stripped him of his humanity, made him into everything he opposes, and he had no control.
I think the next Star Trek movie will be a good time to say goodbye to the next generation crew, Picard leaves or dies, Riker gets the chair and Data gets to become human and the Trek films are handed over to the DS9 and Voyager crews.

I think the next Star Wars movie will be far better, i loved The Phantom Menace, but i think this will be far darker and far more action. The best scenes from the Phantom Menace i think were the light-saber fighting scenes and by what i`ve heard there will be alot in the next film.
All thoses Jedi you saw in the Phantom Menace should get more of a part in the next film, with rumours of even Yoda fighting and Samuel L. Jackson having a far bigger part.

I think also that Star Wars needs a gun-ho character like Han Solo (rumours are that the Falcon will be in Episode 2)
back in, with lots of one liners and some action that betters the previous films.

Well to end this long yawn by me, out of the 2 films, I think Star Wars Episode 2: The Clone Wars (is this still going to be the title?)will be the better in terms of quality story telling and box Office Numbers.

Beam me up Darth!

Actually, i`m hoping both will be better than the previous outings. Episode 2 needs to be darker in tone and lose the "kid friendly" approach. Trek 10 is said to boast a villain better than Khan and also features the Romulans, plus is being written by John Logan of Gladiator fame...

I loved Star Wars when I was younger and Return Of The Jedi is still my favourite film of all time. However over the past few years I have increasingly became more interested in Star Trek. I put this down to 2 reasons,
1. Star Trek is more adult orientated
2. The disappointment of Star Wars Episode 1

Star Trek X does indeed feature the Next Generation crew but Patrick Stewart has said he doesn't want to do anymore after this - maybe he wants to take X-Men on as a franchise if it proves successful enough.

I would tend to say Star Wars Episode II - Personally I enjoy the Star Wars movies more than the Star Trek ones. The last Star Trek film was quite disappointing and I know many people say the same about The Phantom Menace but I enjoyed it!!
Wil the Next Generation crew be in Star Trek X??
