Okay - if you could only buy ONE PS 2 football game, which would it be - ISS, or FIFA 2001?
the first ISS game was good for PS2
I am a massive fan is the great ISS Evo series on the psOne, i have purchased ISS for my ps2 and its totally different (cos its developed by KCET whereas the evo series is developed by KCEO). I liked it a lot at first but that was until i borrowed Fifa off ma m8. Fifa is an excellent game, far superior to ISS but when ISS EVO comes out on ps2 it will wipe the floor with everything!
ISS definitely plays a better game of football, but FIFA has all the league teams.
I love the ISS games but surely they could get an FA license - it would kill off FIFA for good.
I read that the next ISS game (already out in Japan) has been delayed until next year.
There has been some other footy game released (last week) - International League Soccer - but give it a miss as it's supposed to be terrible. The only review has been in C&VG (1 star).
UEFA Challenge is upposed to be out this month, but I've not seen any coverage of it. Might be worth waiting to see if that is a decent alternative to ISS until the new crop of football games later in the year.
