No it wasn't. And FFX has by far worse graphics, worse sound, worse gameplay, worse lifespan, worse system, it's just generally worse.

Haha nah I used to love ff7 with it's greatly designed anime characters and it's unbelieveable depth which drives you into an unforgettable storyline, but now I'm not so sure, ff8 was based on real life characters as you know and it seems that they are either as good as each other or ff8 just squeeses past to be the better of the two. :p

ha, mine is dmc2 but final fantasy 7, 8 and 9 were good, I think ff8 is just a bit better than 7.
