I dont know if I'm the only one but playing PES3 has worn out my controller's D-pad and shoulder buttons very quickly. A brand new contoller for me rarely lasts more than four weeks. However thes controllers can be used to play other games but in Pro Evo i feel that you need a very good controller or else it becomes very frustrating. I was wondering if other Pro Evo fans have this problem. Also I was wondering whether the controllers are made like before when the PS2 was released or whether Sony are purposely making them in such a way that people have to keep on buying a new controller every 1 or 2 months?

The PS2 controllers are naff, and games are purposely made so that you need to use them instead of PS1 controllers, which are much better (Conflict:Vietnam caused me to die many times becasue I had to use a crappy broken Dualshock 2 pad instead of a trusty Dualshock 1 controller, which isn't compatible).

my controller is knackered for pro evo

R1 occasionaly gets stuck and my players will continue to run like jabronies when i let go to the delight of my brother!

my analogue also shifts to the left sometimes when left in the central postion after coming from the left. so sometimes when in dead ball situations the angle will be totally off the pitch!

i still solider on with it though. same controller for 3 years. might buy a new one for pes4.
