Anyone heard of this game? It's being made at the moment by Criterion, due to be released next year, and is already touted as a Half Life 2 beater. IGN had one whole screenshot, and there isn't any media of it anywhere, but the level of detail already witnessed and documented sounds awesome.

Well you never know until you've played it...and the only people that have so far are independent journalists for online magazines, so their views are going to be pretty unbiased. If it was a load of cack, then it wouldn't be getting props from non-PR people. It's not like IGN were paid to write that article - they weren't even given any footage or screenshots to carry it! Sounds like a promising concept, that's all.

I think every platform game released in the 5 years after Mario 64 was said to be a 'Mario Beater', then when they were finally reviwed the last sentence was always 'Mario remains the king of platformers'.

I love it when the media and PR people make ridiculous claims based on very little or no evidence.

It's not Black 9, that was cancelled, and I'd read that before and seen the pictures, but thanks for trying, Anon.
