Has anyone played this yet. I'll be getting my copy tomorrow but have been waiting for it for months. The lions tour has just amplified my anticipation.

I've just got the June issue of the official playstation 2 magazine and there is a playable demo of the game with the magazine. I've played it to bits today. It seems like a good attempt at a rugby game. However, rugby seems to be a big challenge to designers, because of all the complicated rules.
I feel it's not as good as the Madden or Fifa games but a good sports Sim all the same.
Save youself some money and try the demo to see if you like it before you buy it.

realistic weather effects
Cons:
laughable player animation
are you really in control?
scrums feel random
no league teams
It also has some footage of the game on the free DVD you get with the magazine. Its part of the EA special footage.
