Just to prove that this isn't a completely male-dominated area, I met this girl the other day and I asked her the same question, except substituting something girly for football, like shopping.

To my horror everything girly seemed to be better! Even flipping Dawson's Creek!

and it also depends if she lets you swear at the ref
