My favourite Beatles album would probably have to be Revolver, closely followed by Abbey Road. Revolver is a quality, quality album which has a much larger depth to the music compared to any of their earlier stuff.

Rubber Soul saw experimentation, Revolver saw mastery.

I'd have to say the Best...oh hang on.

Once again, Snuggly fires straight over everyone's head.

That's my second favourite. With the white album/abbey road coming in at joint 3rd. You learnt to play Blackbird? sheesh.. i play guitar also and can't think of a more limp, paper-thin song! But don't worry, thats what opinions are for.. we all have them, they're different, blah blah blah. At least you like the Beatles in the first place. Too many people think that because they're old, they suck. Whereas in truth they far from suck. They wrote fantastic songs. I'm never sure who i prefer - Beatles or Stones. If you asked me i'd say Beatles, but musically the stones interest me more, being a guitar player. I love playing stuff like 'Gimme Shelter'. What do you guys think? Captain Funk? Surely your name suggests you too must enjoy the Stones... i mean c'mon... those riffs... woooaaarrggggh!!!

Glad to see someone claimed the prize. And no, '1' doesn't count I'm afraid Goaty. As much as I'd love to award you with a brand new copy of the erotic witch project.

Blackbird is GREAT! It's the first song I learnt to play on guitar and I will always hold it close to my heart.

My favourite without a doubt is Rubber Soul because it's around the time they began experimenting more musically, and it has my favourite ever Beatles song 'In My Life' on it. Plus, unlike the White Album (which is also superb) it doesn't have any of Paul's annoying arty-ponce wimpy ditties like 'Blackbird' - that song is AWFUL.
