We all know that Donkey kong will never beat the Zeldas or Marios of this world but there are some truly spectacular Donkey Kong games released. My personal favourite is Donkey Kong Country 2 on the SNES (the one with Diddy and Dixie). For me this opened up my Donkey Kong gaming.
My favourite Donkey Kong game so far is the monocolour game on the Game Boy.
DKC1 was by far the best.
I didn't like DKC 3 much.
Dixie was a fairly crap character but Kiddy was absolutely awful.
