Does anyone know how much trouble is put into videogames' art? Just think about an average RPG. Firstly you must create the characters... each made of thousands of polygons. Even more taxing must be to get the facial expressions of these characters right.

Then you have the scenery... the world you are playing in. And to make this look realistic, you may have to render every single brick, of every single house of every single village. How long would that take!

Then of course you have the other effects- daily light patterns, cloud formations, rain! How on earth do you begin to create a game... someone explain!

Heh, thinking that you control the story is not the way to go, just sit back and enjoy it. I don't go to the cinema, and expect things to be easily understood... but unfortunatly, they are. Crappy Hollywood.

You make all of your art forms interact on the screen and let the player think he is controlling the story, like in Shenmue!!
