Microsoft could be facing another antitrust lawsuit, this time over its new XP software, which could restrict the websites users access.

XP has a new feature known as a "Smart Tag" which can direct surfers from one site to another. Basically giving Microsoft even more control over the internet that we view.

Microsofts Windows XP will now not contain SmartTags...apparently Microsoft have backed down.

XP is Windows new OS, the successor to Windows 2000 and Me... It basically aims to be the new norm, the OS that will run on all PCs. Most people now use Win98, Microsoft wants XP to be as popular...

...as usual itll probably contain loads of anticompetative code.

What does this new XP software or thing, actually do because i have seen XP crap on the microsoft website but could not be bothered to actually read up about it. So what does it actually do.
