My PS2 is mainly going to be used for online from now on, but the recent games have been distinctly average with a few gems in the midst. PS2 is best enjoyed with other people.
My PS2 barely gets used. I only have it for Transformers and PES3 - and seeing as PES4 is out on Xbox soon, I'll use my PS2 even less.
So for that reason, and the reason that those in my family that use their PS2s have had many many problems, I wont be getting Playstation 3.
The only reason I would would be if Sony somehow managed to buy Nintendo.
