The Buffy the Vampire Slayer series finales are usually stunning but I had a real problem with the end of Season 5. Apart from Sky's adverts doing their best to totally ruin any element of suprise, Buffy's death was an anti-climax and made no apparant sense.
Can anyone explain to me how Buffy's death closed the portal as whatever Dawn was made of it was still Dawn that was the key. She may have been made of Summer's blood but that was not what made her the key. Being the key made her the key!
Am I missing something here or was this ending just a waste of time.
Still, next season should be great. Joss Whedon is aparrently planning a Buffy musical.

Buffy's death closed the portal because, it would take the blodd of dawn to stop running for th portal to die, as Buffy and Dawn had the same blood either of them dying would close the portal, oh and eh, she gets reincarnated, well she must because she signed to do the next series anyway!!
I cried when Optimus Prime died in the Transformers movie. Then they made all new Transformers with bigger, better toys! Maybe they'll make a Buffy with bigger, better ti...oops, I can't say that.
