Well unless I'm mistaken, it seems Nintendo have reduced the GBA SPs price by £20.

They're intending to sell tonnes this Christmas I suppose as their last chance to gain a large fanbase before the NDS next year. Backwards compatability worked for the PS2, so I'm guessing Nintendo are hoping it will work for them now there's competition with the PSP.

The handheld wars are beginning.

The GBA SP is simple gameplay (which is what handhelds are for not complex 3D gameplay), compact, cleverly designed and cheap.

Therefore it has an appeal even with the release of the DS and PSP.

If the DS is seriously going to have games released at the same time as the GBA SP (as long as they continue releasing GBA games) then the SP will be up there fighting with the PSP and DS. Because it is far cheaper, ideal for travel gaming (lets be honest the DS is for new game ideas and the PSP is a smart gadget) and the kids will continue to snap it up.

Plus its phenomonal user base.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
