It look's a neat little unit. And with Microsoft not releasing a hand-held
for what looks like a long time, the PSP looks a good choice. It's about time Nintendo had a competitor in the portable market.

'Companies' not proper 'competition'.

Definitley getting one, just for Metal Gear Acid and the possibility of a portable Xenosaga and Devil May Cry.

Sounds like the battery life will be dire though. Can you say 'Game Gear'?

I am half tempted by the PSP, but I somehow doubt it if it is too expensive.

DS is my main system to get though. Looks so innovative and clever.

Crystal Chronicles, oh yes.

What do you mean Nintendo need proper competition?

As far as I'm concerned SEGA, Nokia and Bandai are massive companies.

I'd rather get some decent Live games.

PSP to me just looks like a big waste of money, there's nothing on a PS2 to really intrest me enough to buy one, so why I'd want spend like 3 times the price on a portable version is anyone's guess.

I might get a DS, probably won't though as I doubt I'd have the time to play the games. Mario 64, Animal Crossing and Snowboard kids portable do look mighty tempting though.

To me, the PSP is a complete waste of money. Its just another PS2 but with old games. Of course its portable, but who cares - hardly anyone plays games in the middle of the street and stuff.

And I hate how they slap a price tag of a full price home console game on the handheld games when its an inferior version. At least the DS is trying something different, but overall, I won't be buying either of them.

I'm not getting either of them.

Because both will be expensive, and the games will be expensive as well.

£10 p/game and I'd consider it, otherwise, no.
