I have just bought a new PS2 as my one stopped working the other day. My original PS2 was one of the first 100000 in England at the time, so I was lucky to get one, obviosuly the "improved" PlayStation goes by a different model number. But I have since moved my network adaptor accross and tried to set it up, I have got as far as the handle-login screen, but whenever I try and log in it says that it cannot recognise my handle. Can anyone answer me, does this have to do with the change of console? Or have I truly forgotten my handle, because I am sure what I am typing in is correct, but then I am not 100% positive because I haven't logged in to Central Station for a good few months now. Obviously I cannot set up a new handle because I am using the same serial number as the handle I have registered with previously and the network setup program detects this. Should I just buy a new network adaptor and set up my handle again - I didn't really want to do it the lazy way out if I can help it though? Any help would be gladly appreciated.
