Also, what's the best way to stop on the PS2 version? The IGN "PS2" guide mentions the crazy stop and limit cut, but these don't work. Also, the cheat to get a speedometer doesn't work, so I suspect the have copied the Dreamcast version's guide. Slackers.

That doesn't make any sense! Hitmaker made Crazy Taxi, as part of Sega's inhouse gaming divisions, you cannot call Sega slackers for making such a superb game - what do you mean 'and they might mean you need a multi-tap.'? Surely that's babble, but if you have to lay blame with anyone, just blame Acclaim, not Accaliam, as they did the conversion. I haven't played CT on PS2 yet, but I am sure it's possible to perform the 'Crazy Stop' wherby you you simply do the opposite of crazy Dash.
So, on the original how did you do the crazy stop?
:)
Oh and have you heard the music on the finishing credits? Its much better than the other tunes in the game.
I'm starting to dislike IGN. They've fobbed us off before with duff info.
Er, the music, you could try to download from Napster, or something similarly unreliable, as I was able to download Shenmue Music from there...and you can't get in trouble because you own the game, right? Also, why don't you just record the music, like on to MiniDisc or something!
In regards to your crazy stop topic, I really cannot help you, and ha ha ha the PS2 has only 2 control ports, so it couldn't really work 'Insert pad into 3rd control port...' indeed, they are slackers.
Heh.
