I've installed MSN Messenger on my brothers computer.
But when I go to sign-in it comes up with the error:
One of the libary files needed to run this application is damaged
MSIMG31.DLL
So i located the .DLL file and deleted it from the PC, found the file on the internet and replaced it, however I still get the same error.
Anyone know how to fix this.

Well if you've replaced the file from one that apparently works (i take it that you've got it from someone elses machine), that kind of takes this out of the equation no?
If it was me, I'd either not use MSN (if you're into gaming Xfire works very well) or I'd reinstall windows and be done with it. If you manage it by some other means you have more patience than I have.

Well if you've replaced the file from one that apparently works (i take it that you've got it from someone elses machine), that kind of takes this out of the equation no?
If it was me, I'd either not use MSN (if you're into gaming Xfire works very well) or I'd reinstall windows and be done with it. If you manage it by some other means you have more patience than I have.

Have you tried add/remove programs then redownloading the installer? That would be my first approach, sounds like something went pear shaped from install.
