Im looking to buy a Radeon 9700 pro AGP off Ebay. The one in particular that Im looking at has had a Vantec Iceberq 4 chip cooler added to it, that needs a small 3 pin power connector. The guy is supplying an adaptor to take the power from from a standard 4 pin connector from my PSU (And another adaptor for the card) and so thats not a problem.

What I want to know is, how easy is the card to fit? I have two power connectors spare (one for card, one for fan) so will it be a easy procedure connecting these up?

Cheers.

if you can put a cartridge into a Megadrive or SNES you can fit a graphics card

Ok, thanks for that, thought it would be relatively simple but wanted to make sure I could fit it myself before bidding.

it's very very simple. simply plug them in! Honestly, that's all. Each plug will only fit one socket and will only fit one way up, so you're in no danger of getting it wrong. And it's a simple plug-in procedure.

Once you plug the graphics card into the AGP slot though, you might have to screw the back plate onto the expansion bay but that honestly isn't hard. I simple crosshead screwdriver will do the trick. You'll need one screw for that.
