They get almost everything before us. All the games, all the Nintendo merchandise. We are just getting to grips with Animal Crossing, Pikmin 2 ect. and they are looking forward to games like Animal Crossing 2!

That was a special case, and frankly the game wasn't worth importing anyway, which like me you could have done if you were really bothered.

Well the amount of translation that had to be done, would have taken ages anyway. But they were in two minds as to whether they should release it or not, so thats why we had the added delay...
Even though it debuted in the US two months after Japan...

Rare were the real biatches.
They'd make beautiful games, less than 30-40 miles from where I lived, and then send them over the Atlantic months before they let us see them.

Most games that you probably enjoy never get released in Japan, so what you shoud really be complaining about is the US.
Perfect Dark wasn't released in Japan for 6 months after the Uk, and loads of FPS and shooty-action games just never get released over there. games like TS2 and Rogue Squadron, even Metroid Prime get released in japan last if at all. It's just games from Konami, Nintendo and Capcom's japanese development teams that gets released in Asia first.
The US get EVRYTHING before we do, they get it cheaper and they get it with free stuff.
