okay, i have a rather serious problem, huge CHUNK of what i can only describe as missing colour on my LCD screen on my Laptop, but it is missing all the colours, but sometimes bits of it comes back, and it is not affected in any screen shots i take, it is right downthere, over the start menu thingy! goes from the far side down <>there any help please? my friend is the one who told me that is it most likely stuck or dead pixels and that there is a way of fixing it, but he didnt know.
thank you, i did try it last night, but some genious (mother dearest i believe) turned my laptop off whilst i slept. so now i will have to try again, i had some dodgy flashing image going you see.
There are only a few ways to try and revive a lazy pixel, if it's outright dead then you are pretty much screwed, usually playing a fast moving game or rubbing the screen area lightly with a cotton bud is the treatment of the day.
