Why is it that alot of games get released in Japan but dont get released over here? I was looking through mags and on the web and there are alot of games then wont ever get released over here. Isn't this a little unfair. Although looking at some of them i can see why.
There are games in which you have to drive a train or a bus and collect passengers on time or get penalised for being late. Sounds great, I don't think.
There are also alot of weird ones that make no sense what so ever. But there are also a few which look good andmeans if you want to play them you have to fork out the extra cash for an import copy. Dosn't seem fair to me.

Some games over there are quite bad so they never go anywhere else but some games and some versions of games are fantastic and never make it over to the little islands of the UK. Parasite eve is an example, as if you do just release the second one, it's like releasing terminator 2 without the first one.
Some Japanese games aren't worth translating so no one can be bothered.

I have Parasite Eve. Its a pretty good game only took 10 hours to complete. I think they were going to bring PE out but it kept getting delayed.
There are tons of Japanese games out that never get released over here. They never get released for a very good reason, the Japanese love different type of games. They would rather race a horse or drive a train then play MGS2. Thats why MGS2 is heading to the US of A first.
