Does anyone have a good way of being able to survive the sewers in Resident Evil 4, because the creeps down there are deadly. Thanking you guys in advance for your words of wisdom =)

On pro that's sometimes just not possible - you'd die.

same here kill them on the spot if you can thats my method.
Yes use a shotgun ,blow them to bits.
Prepare yourself before you enter EG fill up on ammo and try get more than one weapon.
One final tip don't be scared i used to be terrifed of the resident evil games, not now what i do is play music over the top of the game music,trust me it helps.

I've got past that bit now, and killed only a few. I found if I knew where I was going and ran the whole way without stopping they couldn't get a grip on me, so that's what I did =)

Take your time, remember where they all appear, try and snipe them before they see you, don't panic.
The invisible bug things? On Pro that's hard, not on normal. Just shoot them once to make them recoil, then run on - you don't have to kill them all, you just need to get through.
