of actually getting something like the Mail or the Express into trouble?

i.e scaring mums about MMR, when in fact it was all bull? i.e leaving thousands at risk of a pretty nasty and contagious disease?

They use world cleverly - alledgedly is the classic as it covers them if they're not 100% sure and people usually miss the alledgedly and assume it must be true.
