Cousin of mine in the army went on "Dog Patrol" in Bosnia, where they went around and shot all the dogs that had gone feral, then took the bodies away. The dogs were pretty nasty apparently, he said a few people had been killed by wild packs.

I would have read some of that forum, but the formatting is terrible...

A delightful chav-child set his pitbull onto a neighbours cat once. I'd never booted a dog in the head before then. The exquisite "Oh &*%^, what have I done?!" feeling as it turned to regard me was a once in a lifetime experience.
