I've just recently got this, and wow, this is without a doubt Reznor's finest work - I mean, The Fragile was pretty good, but it lacks the consistency that this album is reeking with. Songs like March Of The Pigs and Hurt just make you shiver - the imagery is just so creepy, but it's so fantasically done.
I really hope there are some NIN fans out there. Somewhere.

I've liked The Fragile for ages and everyone said The Downward Spiral is a whole lot better - I got it, and wow, what a disturbing and amazing album!

Very dated, but still a top notch album. I recommend you track down the banned "Broken" video if you have any sort of interest in NiN.

Almost bought it the other day. Only have With Teeth, really wanna get PHM and TDS.
I also saw a few very cheap EP's. Further Down the Spiral and Fixed. Maybe it's spending time?

The 'Broken' video makes me squirm.
It'd be interesting to see the faked snuff tape they did. Although I obviously wouldn't watch it, as it would make me cry.
