I hear things like overclocking shortens your hardwares' life, but was wondering if this still applies if temperatures stay normal all the time? I'm using nothing special to cool down my CPU other than a normal heatsink and fan, and I've overclocked my Athlon by 10% so it has gone from 2.4Ghz to 2.6Ghz, but the temperatures of the CPU and motherboard have stayed normal. As of now they're 32C for the CPU and 22C for the motherboard. After about 5-8 hours of use they go up only by 5-10C which isn't much. Will the CPU last the same as a unclocked one because the heat readings are normal?
CPU has been overclocked for 2 months now.
Would love 25% though!
