I'm sick of it.

I cannot stand the way it uses so much of my CPU, and how it enjoys crashing every now and again.

And its habit of throwing a hissy-fit whenever a pdf is thrown at it.

Any other (non-IE) alternatives [preferably includes tabs] ?

Given that Opera is arguably the pinnacle of GUI software, what are you expecting?

Safari?

Or is that Mac-exclusive?

Also, Avant, MiniBrowser, and I once had to install Simple Browser for an assignment at college once, but I don't know where you can get it from.

Tried Opera.

Got bored of it, it's not mindblowing.

And has this wierd ability centre my mouse to the middle of the screen whenever I click my scroll-wheel.

Any other suggestions?

The latest Netscape is a hybrid of IE and Firefox - it includes both rendering engines, so you can switch between them at will. Haven't had it crash yet.

My conclusion is that you HAVE to use all three. It's the only solution, plus it helps when one is temporarily stalling over some messed up page that you can switch over and browse with another.
