Best band since the libs probs and they didnt get lured by big production companies either and have signed to Rough Trade or Domino i cant remember which but they are both independant record labels

First band to deserve being number one in 8 years.

I'm not much of a fan of them, but Captain is the only one of their CDs that I can still be bothered to listen to. Short but sweet.

Anyway...before Mattri distracted me, I was going to say...

They will become a victim of their own success like every other band who have found themselves suddenly thrust to the top of the charts. Their 'loyal fanbase' will suddenly think 'uh-oh, other people are buying this stuff and I want to be different...I can't buy into something mainstream, I'm off to find a new 'next big thing' before they blow my cool'...record sales will drop, band will be dropped by record label and be cast into obscurity before their second album...

Well the one I'm going to see is an acoustic and an electric set, which will be raaaaather good.

I've never seen them, so that makes me the best of all.

Aye, true that. Haven't decided which is better out of Remote Part or Warnings/Promises yet. I change my opinion on those two all the time.
