Need an alternative to:

td.mobile {
background: #069 url(../images/bkgnd_mobile.gif) no-repeat 0 0;
}
td.mobile:hover {
background: #222 url(../images/bkgnd_mobile_on.gif) no-repeat 0 0;
}


Works great in CSS2 browsers, bu not IE (obviously). Anyone got any ideas, preferably quick n simple.
