The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
A few weeks ago we condensed some of the forums, for example PS1 and PS2 are now together, so that we have fewer, busier forums.
As I recall this was at the suggestion of Your Honour.

Mixed opinions as usual in the forums.
Perhaps we would be able to split the Nintendo and Sony forums, in the same way as Future of Gaming, once the traffic in them builds up a bit. We could have pairs of forums with bridges.

I'm not sure if that's the fault of the forum split, or the amount of PS1 fanboys springing up everywhere. I'm going to have to tell Wookiee to keep them under control a bit more...

Tony, I don't like the Nintendo forums.
The Gamecube forum used to be mine. I used to post previews of all of the great games I had heard about.
Now, there is no point.
They quickly sink down the page as some of your less informed Ninties, who don't even know what a Gamecube is, argue with Playstation owners about whose console is better.
My previews where all together just after E3, and people that wanted to know about the Gamecube could get information they wanted from there. Now they cannot.
Life in general and Football topics just don't mix. It's cut down on the football related posts I'm sure, though that may be because it's the end of the season.
I'm not sure that Music and DVDs work well together either.
I think you probably would have been better off promoting the other forums through the use of banner ads rather than combining them.

No, this is a topic for the chat forum as it doesn't concern gaming and is Tony asking us for an opinion...
