Edgy and a few other people will know aout this. There is a hacker going around on MSN Messenger and is stealing account usernames. Today he stole mine. He uses your name to log in, he finds out as much infomation he can (eg. name in the profile). There are 2 hackers, one known as Bob (Who I think was the one who hacked into edgys account), and Frank Miller. Frank Miller was the one who hacked mine. He has also hacked into Edgys account. But they might be the same people, I don't know. I spoke to him yesterday, and today I cant login to my account because my password has been changed and I can't reset it. Dont add any of these names to your friend list, as he can tell when you have added him. After he has hacked into your account, he hacks into everyone else on your friend list. Be careful what you put into your profile, because he is writing it all down. When I spoke to him he said that he tries to find stuff like name, where you live etc. There isn't nothing you can do, but I thought it was still important you knew about this.

There are a whole load of sites about hacking MSN Messenger.
If you have IE, type "Search Hack MSN Messenger".

I don't have a hotmail account, just a passport. What will/won't happen to me, then?

Don't you think I tried that? Infact I did, I used the new password given to me by hotmail and I still couldn't get in!

I hoped this topic has helped someone (or at least got people aware of the hackers). I know some people complain that this is a forum for important topics, but you could lose your account on MSN Messenger. You might want to write all your freinds email addresses are. I didn't and now I don't know my friends again to my new name.

I glad I decided to wait before joining up!

I think I'll lie low until this whole thing blows over, then I might consider it again!

Scary Microsoft has such rubbish security, like on Windows98 if you delete the file *.pwl then no more password on boot up (Apparently according to my PC mag). Infact reading any PC mag this day makes you very scared half the letters are about security flaws in Windows.

Thanks for the warning anyway.

Ummmmm... r u sure... coz I think they might have sorted that out... and although millions of people hack into hotmail it is NOT because it is easy to do... it's just that more people want to hack a MS site becuse they are successful
