Got it today. Don't know which - if any - of these songs'll make it to the next album - but I don't care if none of them make it so long as they keep making this kind of music. It's !@**€#! excellent. I'm practically creaming myself in anticipation of the album (Feb release in America, might just have to import that too). Interestingly all the songs are pretty short, by South standards anyway. 4/5 of them being almost bang on the 3 min mark, the other one still only being 4 mins. MusicalIy it's a departure from their 'usual' (I use that word loosley) style. It's incredibly hard to delineate between most South songs in any meaningful way, but the only way I can get close to describing it is as being much more in line with the Colours In Waves / Paint The Silence kind of thang. A lot higher tempo than most of their other stuff, very drummy/beaty too. Anyway, tis excellent. Favourite is probably A Place In Displacement, difficult to pick a weakest.

They've really developed a sound! They've kind of secure now. I thought that was it. 2 albums and then the end.
