Thanks for any feedback - I've only really tested it in Firefox Beta 1...

Although I like the fade text, the problem tends to lie with most peoples monitors being crap therefore making it impossible to read.

What's the fascination with blogs anyway? I never really understood why people have them.

Well, not sure what you mean by "very basic"... As for the fade text, it's not really meant to be important - hence the lighter shade - and the whole design is geared towards the content (not that there's much yet) being the focus.

And as for it being too square, it's just a matter of code.

It's very white, and the fade text is hard to read. also, putting colours aside, it seems a very basic design. i don't know if that's what you intended, but it doesn't appeal to me. Everything is too square.
