I got incredibly angry at the TV last night. The Shield has always been about urban gangs, street crime, stuff like that. It's well written, well acted, and bloody good. But last night they crossed a line, and all it took was the uttering of one simple word: "Terrorists". I exploded with rage...how dare they ruin one of my favourite shows! It's not 24, it's actually a good show that's kept up the ante from day one!

But then they made it up to me - in spectacular style. I won't ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but those that did...just...woah! The bit with the chair...and the man...and the expl...gah I can't say anymore. Let's just say it was a very powerful expl...err, moment, and the aftermath was shown in more than graphic detail. Very shocking, very bloody, very bloody good!

Having seen all of the series already that terrorist bit is just a minor off-shoot that's cleared up in record time so I wouldn't worry about it turning into 24, because it doesn't.

And yeah that is quite a funky bit.

That's what I meant. I though they'd sold out and gone for the whole "Turrists r evul" approach, but no, then KABOOM! Super.
