I'm pretty sure they exist and yet no-one seems to sell versions for portable CD players etc.

What I'm looking for is essentially an ear piece (or one for each ear) that's relayed music from some device that's plugged into your portable CD player but without the hassle of wires between the two.

Any links?

I've actually got some home headphones, quite big but fun all the same.

I want some bud, in-ear wireless ones...oh yes.

I saw some on a market stall once and she explained all how they work and i didnt bother buying it because you have to have loads of batteries, like extra ones for the cd player where you plug the transmitter into the hole the headphones normally go in and then you need more batteries for the earphones and i dont think they last very long either which could be annoying.

The advantages are being able to go to the toilet and still hear whatever you are watching because they have good range and also the obvious one of no wires to get tangled up.

Wireless headphones have been around for ages. My uncle had a set for his home hi-fi. The problem was that they where the big over-the-ear type and the reciever was huge too, so they'd be limited to home use. This was about 10 years ago however and technology has, well, got smaller. Ive got a wireless transmitter for my guitar that isnt much bigger than a battery and that works great so there are bound to be some decent wireless headphones that are small enough for a portable system. I'll stress the word decent there, because those ones one ebay dont look too good to me, but I suppose you wont know until you try them.

If you get any make sure you let us know what the're like.

Bluetooth ones would kick ass.

A mp3 player with bluetooth headphones - two individual ones that clip / sit around each ear. And a very light rechargeable battery.

Go make one someone.
