Have you heard about that earth quake? 2000 people dead so far, and our goverment gives them 100,000 grand, disgusting. That would do about 1 person, and they're spending billions of pounds to keep the troops in Iraq....

So we should be sending over £200,000,000? That's quite a lot. I'm sorry to hear about it but the British government can't be expected to sort out the problems caused by natural disasters every time they happen. We'd be screwed when you think hw many people have died from such things this year alone.

Maybe this earth quake does have somthing to do with us! Think of the amount of bombs dropped around that area over the past 12 months, this will have an affect on earth quakes!

Agreed. If people want to donate to the rescue effort that's up to them not the Government.

I said One hundred thousand pounds. Not One Hundred Million Pounds... The biggest power in the world (America) have given £60.000, thats alot.
I'd like to see what you lot would say if the same thing happened to you. All your loved ones dead, your home destroyed and no money, bcause twirps in other countrys are to selfish to part with a bit of their dosh, all those millionares out there...doing nothing. The goverment has billions.
20,000 people dead and 40,000 injured. Oh, its nothing to do with us so we just wont bother. Nice.
