Sorry if this has already been posted but was on ebuyer and an advert stating "radeon x1800XL coming soon". So googleds and got a review for the fastest of the new ati cards, the x1800XT:

These cards were a big disappointment for me. No point paying through the nose for a card that runs almost the same as a 7800GTX.

I've seen very mixed reviews and happy that I didn't hold out for the X1800XT 512. Happy as larry with the 7800GTX tbh.

Too little to late tbh. ATI kinds of borked this round with stock issues. Real shame as always been a total ATI fanboy.
