I did my a-levels just before they changed, when 3 or 4 full a-levels plus general studies was the norm (no as levels), and only 3 non-general studies a-levels could be used in a uni application.
I've found the points equivalents, but I'm not sure whether I should be including 4 a-levels plus general studies in my total, or just the 3 best a-levels.
Any ideas?

That can calculate the 'old' scoring system - at the bottom.
I was really looking to find out whether it was standard to include general studies and extra a-levels, and if there was any significance to the change in a-level system a few years back.
But I've included everything I've got, and if it comes up as a problem at interview I figure I can justify that path, at least in terms of my own intergrity.
My tutor and the careers person downstairs both said to fill in anything academic you've got, even (in the case of someone in my tutor group) swimming instructor awards/achievements etc.

He was asking if he should put he best 3 or everything he's got, right? ;)
