"The Death of a comedian"

It was announced today that Ronnie Barker has died at 76.
I'm sure Ronnie Corbit, David Jason and other fellow actors are saddened aswell.

I would like to say how sorry i am for hearing of his loss.
He was a great TV comedian who had brought me many hours of laughter.

I hope he brought you any of hours of laughter as well.

It feels a little strange to know that he's dead when your watching his stuff, but good to know i saw him act while he was still alive, brilliant comedian, will be missed.

Legend that he was, elton john should do anover cover of diana's song and rename it 'Fork handles' in the wind, a fitting tribute to one of the nations kings of comedy.

I hate it when cool people that ive wathed all my life die.

porridge must of been one of the greatest tv programs of its time.

Well I cant say I've avoided him, I might have heard him but didnt know who it was!

Seriously, you'd never heard of him? I can't honestly say I'm a big fan of his but I can't believe that anybody can have totally avoided his work.
